Laws Study Support

Laws Study Support sessions flyer

The Undergraduate Laws Programme has a series of face to face teaching sessions which take place over some weekends during the academic year. Formerly known as the Weekend Courses, these sessio0ns are being relaunched this year as Laws Study Support. The classes take place in Stewart House, Russell Square, London and cover the Intermediate, Options and Finals subjects. The courses have been designed to help you consolidate your knowledge and provide an opportunity to meet the University of London tutors and fellow students. There will be two lectures and two tutorials for each course. Students attend all lectures and will  be allocated to tutorial groups on their arrival. Each course covers a different topic (e.g Criminal Law) and is therefore complete in itself but students often find it very useful to attend more than one course over the weekend. The purpose of the courses is to assist students to concentrate on the important areas of  study (especially topics that students find difficult), to introduce new developments, recent and forthcoming legislation, and to help tackle problems when writing exam answers. The courses are not formal revision sessions for exams although we are planning some online revision sessions nearer the exam period. Details about the Laws Study Support, and the Laws Induction Day on 6th October, are available on the VLE.
